One of the notable sub-regions within the Lisbon wine region is the Bucelas area, known for producing distinctive white wines made from the Arinto grape. The scenic route leading to Bucelas is dotted with vineyards and offers captivating views of the countryside and one of the most fun motorcycle roads in Portugal, the N115 that winds its way between valleys and hills providing fun and amazing views.

Continuing the ride towards the western part of the region, you'll encounter the Torres Vedras area. This region is renowned for its red wines, particularly those made from the Castelão grape variety. The countryside is adorned with vine-covered hills, providing an idyllic backdrop for your motorcycle adventure.

We will stop at some of the local wineries and vineyard estates along the way. Many of these establishments offer wine tastings, guided tours, and the opportunity to learn about the winemaking process first-hand.

Impossible to miss are the quaint villages and towns such as Óbidos or Mafra. These places offer historic charm with echos of incredible history remembered by emblematic castles and palaces,  allowing you to take a break, explore, and indulge in local culture.

Also on the route is a visit to Serra de Montejunto, a beautiful mountain range located about 50 kilometers north of Lisbon. Known for its natural beauty, rich biodiversity, and historical significance, a visit to Serra de Montejunto offers a wonderful opportunity to explore nature, enjoy the great roads, and learn a little about the region's history.
